Help Us Keep Ross Tennis Centre Thriving
This late spring/early summer 2026, our team is taking on the legendary National Three Peaks Challenge—climbing the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis – 1,345m), England (Scafell Pike – 978m), and Wales (Snowdon – 1,085m)—all within 24 hours. That’s over 23 miles of hiking, 3,000 metres of ascent, and 450+ miles of driving. It’s a brutal test of stamina, teamwork, and determination.
And we’re doing it to support a place that means the world to our community: Ross Tennis Centre.
Why We’re Fundraising
Ross Tennis Centre is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run hub that’s been serving players of all ages and abilities. The courts are all outdoors—but the centres hut, which houses the kitchen, toilets, and meeting space, is the beating heart of the facility.
That hut’s roof had been leaking for years—patched and repatched until it became impossible to ignore. It was finally replaced in October 2025, but the cost had to be covered using funds originally earmarked for other vital improvements across the centre.
So now, we’re stepping up—literally—to help replenish those funds and ensure the centre can continue to grow, improve, and serve the community.
Our Goal
We’re aiming to raise £3,500 through this challenge. Every donation will go directly to Ross Tennis Centre to:
- Rebuild the budget for future upgrades
- Maintain and enhance the facilities
- Keep tennis accessible and welcoming for all
How You Can Help
- Donate – Every pound gets us closer to the summit (and the fundraising target!)
- Share – Spread the word to friends, family, and fellow tennis lovers
- Cheer Us On – We’ll need all the motivation we can get at 3am on Scafell Pike!
This is more than a fundraiser—it’s a rallying cry to support a place that brings people together through sport, friendship, and community spirit.
Help us climb mountains so Ross Tennis Centre can continue to serve Ross-on-Wye for years to come.
Thank you for your support—it means the world to us and to the future of tennis in Ross.
