Many of you know by now that we have unexpectedly lost one of our beloved community members. Paul Welch, father to Lucian (4), Annika (K), and Juniper (PS), passed away a few weeks ago. It's been a challenging transition for the children, and for mom (Melissa). This is a time when we must wrap our SJA arms even stronger around each other and coalesce for the sake of healing, together.

 

Missy will find herself solely responsible for all of her kids' expenses; tuitions, movie nights, colleges, and weddings. She does not currently work outside of the home. Her family unit  will undergo a major shift once she takes on a professional role . It has been ten years since she last stepped foot into an office. Although reentering the workforce is not for the faint of heart, she is ready, excited for a new start ( a rebirth is what she is calling it) and is not above any job opportunity. One hundred  percent of these funds will go to her children and to cover any childcare expenses that will arise from her new career.  Her wish is to provide her children with as much normalcy as possible.
