Support Raven's Peaceful Farewell

It is with an absolute shattering of our hearts that it is time to say goodbye to our precious friend Raven.

To know Raven is to love Raven; I'm sure every person who's ever met her would positively agree. She has been a shining light of calm and unconditional love as she has spent over 12 years as a therapy dog visiting 1st responders, children with Paws To Read, teenagers in crisis, and even corporate visits to Uber and PayPal for employee personal well-being.

I met Raven over a decade ago when I invited her & Camille to join our German Shepherd Club. The man running the club adored Raven, as everyone does, and we all decided that on Wednesday nights, Raven would identify as a German Shepherd. She has continued to attend class right up to last Wednesday.

Unfortunately, the cancer has finally done what it always intends to do, which is bring us to this heartbreaking day. We will be saying goodbye to her today at 4 pm. Although there is nothing we will ever be able to do to help or heal the pain our wonderful friend Camille will be going through, perhaps we can help a bit with the financial burden attached to those final costs of the cancer treatments and the dignity of saying goodbye at home.
