This past Christmas Eve, my family and I survived a horrific car accident—an event that changed our lives in an instant. The road to recovery has been long, steady, and often incredibly difficult for my mom , my husband and me. While we are blessed to be 99% better today, we know we will never be completely healed. Yet we stand stronger, more hopeful, and more independent because of one extraordinary group of people:

The Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and 24-Hour Nursing Teams at St. John’s Hospital.

These exceptional professionals worked their highly skilled tails off to help me face my fears, overcome excruciating pain, and rebuild my strength and confidence. They were patient when I was scared, persistent when I felt weak, and compassionate when the journey felt too heavy. They didn’t just help my body heal—they helped restore my spirit.

This Giving Tuesday, I want to give back to the very people who gave me and my family a second chance at living fully again.

Why I’m Raising Funds

St. John’s Physical Therapy Department serves hundreds of patients every year—people recovering from injuries, surgeries, accidents, and life-changing events. Their work is nothing short of life-restoring, yet the equipment they rely on is often outdated or stretched thin between patients.

I’m asking for your help to provide this amazing team with the up-to-date equipment they deserve, so they can continue helping patients heal more efficiently, safely, and with greater comfort.

Modern tools and resources will make a real difference—for patients relearning how to walk, regain mobility, rebuild speech, or simply take their first steps toward independence.
