I am writing this memorial in tribute to my Brother-In-Law, Steve Melzac. Steve is a retired Master Sgt from the US Army, Special Forces.
On November 6, 2015, Steve died, unexpectedly, of a heart attack. It was his, and his family’s understanding, that he was covered under insurance from his company. Unfortunately, that turned out to be incorrect and the family received no insurance benefit.
Now, his widow (my sister) has to finish raising their son on her own. The family lost 75% of their income but the bills, including house payment, are piling up.
All gifts to this memorial fund will be used to help the family with immediate expenses until they can get on their feet and make some decisions on how to best proceed now that Steve is gone.
