Jordan's Journey
Donation protected
Hi All,
Last week, our family received some devastating news... that our "little" cousin, Jordan, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
Jordan is expected to remain at Boston Children's Hospital for the next approximate 40 days, where he is surrounded by his immediate family and an amazing care team. He will not be discharged until they find that he is in full remission. When discharged, he will still have to receive outpatient chemotherapy for two years. The physicians are hopeful that after this two-year journey, he will never have to think or deal with leukemia ever again.
He will experience a long, difficult road of treatment including a combination of hospital and home visits, imaging, and chemotherapy over the next two years. We remain optimistic that he will power through this storm!
His parents and older brother, Jake, will need some love and support during this difficult time. Mom (Beth Errico) and Dad (Paul Errico) are currently cutting down their hours spent at work to be with Jordan during the treatment process. His visits are going to include endless expenses... treatment, travel & parking in town, daily meals on the run...etc. During these unprecedented times, we are reaching out to our family and friends in hopes that together, we can make this a little bit easier on them.
Please reach out to us with any questions or further information.
With love,
Ashley & Rachel
