Support Roxy’s Surgery and Recovery

About a year ago, a stray dog wandered into our neighborhood.
She was scared, thin, and clearly had been on her own for a long time. None of us planned on getting a dog, but Roxy had other plans. ❤️

Roxy was lovingly looked after by myself and two neighbors, bouncing back and forth between our homes and becoming a little piece of each of our families. When we first found her, I made sure she was spayed and up to date on her shots—because even then, she deserved to be safe, healthy, and loved.

On Monday evening, everything changed. Roxy was hit by a car. She was seen by a vet that night and was told she will more than likely need one of her legs amputated in order to survive and live a pain-free life.

This was completely unexpected, and the cost of her vet care and surgery is more than we can manage alone. We are reaching out to our community with humble hearts, asking for help to give Roxy the second chance she’s already fought so hard for.

Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward her medical care, surgery, and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this post and keeping Roxy in your thoughts and prayers.

She showed up in our neighborhood looking for kindness.
Now we’re asking for kindness on her behalf.

Thank you so much for your love and support.
