Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well!
I just wanted to take some time to share with you how I have recently seen God's hand in my life!
This has been a big year for me, but in the midst of everything, I have felt Jesus working in my heart in a deeply personal way. Over several months, I felt that God was asking me to take a leap of faith, but I did not know how. One night, the parable of the soils from Matthew thirteen came to mind. As I opened my Bible, in an intimate moment with God, I felt convicted to tears that God wanted me to learn to be an effective witness of Christ like the receptive soil in the parable.
The next day at church, I walked in to find that the day's message was based on Matthew thirteen! It was then that I began to earnestly pray that God would show me how to be the person that He wanted me to be.
After I began praying this prayer, immediately the thought "YWAM" came to mind. It persisted for weeks, and finally, I learned that it was a mission Bible school! As I began to seriously pray about it, I realized that this was what God was calling me to do!
During this time as I was beginning to actively pursue my newfound freedom in my faith, I began to notice more that not many of my friends felt the same way. I prayed that if God wanted me to join YWAM, to send me just one person that could walk with me and encourage me. That week I received a phone call from a friend in Germany. She shared that she felt God was asking her to join a Bible school program this year!
I have been so blown away by God's love and provision!
After a lot of prayer, I am so excited to tell you all that I have been accepted into the Youth With A Mission Discipleship Training School Program! I will be graduating high school early this winter to attend begin training this January for the next six months!
I will be spending three months in Kona, Hawaii at the University of Nations in a lecture phase where we will learn about the Bible, about God’s love, and about how God will use us to bring freedom to other people. I will then spend the next three months in a different location living with, serving, and sharing the gospel to people who do not know Jesus.
In March we will be praying about and deciding the location where God is asking us to serve for our three month outreach. After that, we will be spending some time in Peru for a second outreach.

I am really looking forward to this opportunity to learn even more about my faith, and I am so excited to learn about the plans God has for me this next year! I would like to ask if you would all be praying for me as I take these next steps forward in my life. I would also like to ask if you would please pray about if you are feeling led to give as I raise the money to cover the living, classes, and travel expenses that make up this program.
