Marta’s Love Lives On: Fund for Leo’s Future

Dear friends!

With heavy hearts, we share the news of Marta's sudden passing on May 26, 2023. Let us come together in remembrance of our beloved Marta, who touched the lives of so many people with her music, her kind and humorous spirit and her loving heart. During the 39 years of her life, Marta brought so much light and laughter and love to our lives, that we who are left behind find ourselves at a loss of words to express both the depth of our sorrow as well as the gratitude of our hearts.

Marta Kucbora was born on April 2nd, 1984 in Bialystok, Poland and discovered her musical gifts at a young age. Excelling both as a soloist, an accompanist and as an ensemble musician Marta was at home in music of all epochs, from Renaissance to contemporary.

But her talents were not limited to the performing space, being a dedicated and passionate piano teacher for students of all ages.

Marta leaves behind her partner Luca, their 6 month old son Leo, her parents Hanna and Adam, her brother Maciek and his wife and children, as well as many friends throughout Europe and overseas.

With this call for donations, we would like to gather financial support for Luca, who is faced with great challenges, caring for his beloved son Leo as a single father whilst at the same time having to come to terms with this incredible loss.

Drodzy przyjaciele!

Pogrążeni w niedowierzaniu i ogromnym smutku dzielimy się wieścią o nagłej śmierci Marty. Marta odeszła od nas w Dzień Matki, który to świętowała po raz pierwszy jako mama Leo. Marta miała zaledwie 39 lat. Nasze serca są teraz z Marty mężem, Lucą, pięciomiesięcznym synem, Leo, bratem Maćkiem i jego rodziną, oraz rodzicami: Hanią i Adamem. .

Oddajemy hołd osobie o wyjątkowo pięknym sercu - córce, siostrze, przyjaciółce, żonie, matce, pianistce, nauczycielce. Marta była pełna ciepła, dobra i troski dla innych. Bardzo skromna, mimo osiągnięć, mądrości i talentu.

Potrafiła zjednać sobie każdego swoim uśmiechem i autentycznością. Marta była uważna na ludzi. Kochała macierzyństwo. Oddana była muzyce.

Utworzyliśmy tę zbiórkę na GoFundMe, aby wspomóc Lucę i Leo w tym trudnym czasie. Luka stanie teraz przed wyzwaniem samotnej opieki nad Leo. Mamy nadzieję, że zebrane środki pomogą mu pokryć koszty związane z odejściem Marty, i opieką na Leo.

Liebe Freunde und Freundinnen,

vergangenen Freitag, den 26. Mai 2023 ist unsere geliebte Marta Kucbora ganz plötzlich und viel zu früh im Alter von 39 Jahren von uns gegangen.

Sie hinterlässt ihren Partner Luca, ihren gemeinsamen 6 Monate alten Sohn Leo, ihre liebevollen Eltern Hanna und Adam, ihren älteren Bruder Maciek mit Familie und unzählige bestürzte Freundinnen und Freunde.

Marta ist am 2. April 1984 in Bialystok, Polen, geboren. Sie war eine begnadete Musikerin, eine hingebungsvolle Lehrerin und eine Seele von Mensch, die mit ihrer Art alle verzauberte, die ihr begegnen durften.

Mit diesem Spendenaufruf möchten wir Luca, Leos liebevollen Vater, bei dieser immensen Herausforderung, fortan Sorge für seinen Sohn zu tragen und gleichzeitig diesen unvorstellbaren Verlust zu verkraften, – zumindest finanziell – unterstützen.

Con grande dolore condividiamo la notizia dell'improvviso decesso di Marta il 26 maggio 2023.

Marta lascia il figlio Leo di 6 mesi, il compagno Luca, i genitori Hanna e Adam, il fratello Maciek e sua moglie e i figli, oltre a tanti amici in tutta Europa e in America.

Uniamoci in ricordo della nostra amata Marta, che ha toccato la vita di così tante persone con la sua musica, il suo spirito gentile e divertente e il suo cuore amorevole.

Durante i 39 anni della sua vita Marta ha portato così tanta luce, risate e amore nelle nostre vite, che non troviamo parole per esprimere sia la profondità del nostro lutto che la gratitudine dei nostri cuori.

Marta Kucbora è nata il 2 aprile 1984 a Bialystok, in Polonia, e ha scoperto le sue doti musicali già da bambina. Eccellendo sia come solista, accompagnatrice e musicista d'ensemble.

Marta si è trovata a suo agio nella musica di tutte le epoche, dal rinascimento al contemporaneo.

Ma i suoi talenti non si limitavano allo spazio delle esibizioni, essendo un'insegnante di pianoforte dedicata e appassionata per studenti di tutte le età.

Con questo appello alle donazioni, vorremmo sostenere Luca, almeno dal punto di vista finanziario, in questa immensa sfida di prendersi cura del piccolo Leo da solo d'ora in poi e allo stesso tempo affrontare questa perdita inimmaginabile.
