Currently Joe Wood is at TC Munson battling cancer and has been frequently, for well over a year. With multiple trips to Grand Rapids and Traverse City, occasionally via medical flights.

Throughout this challenging period, he has demonstrated remarkable resilience in fighting the disease; however, the cancer has taken a significant toll, and the accumulating bills have become a substantial burden.
