My name is Karen Macy. My best friend, Debbie Wheelock, is fighting every single day just to keep going. An ongoing medical condition has taken so much from her-her health, her stability, and now the home where she raised a family and built a lifetime of memories. Debbie is being forced to leave the house that once represented safety, love, and years of hard work to move into an apartment simply because she physically cannot live in her current home due to her inability to navigate stairs and other limitations in her home. The physical pain, endless medical appointments, and the emotional devastation of having to leave her home have left her exhausted and scared, yet she continues to push forward with quiet strength. Through it all her children- Matthew (and Carly), Christopher, Hannah, Haylee, and Angelica- have stood beside her offering unwavering love and support during her hardest moments. She is also supported by her Burger King work family- Juli Ann Gangloff, Jennifer Gibbs, Tonya Frasier, Jonathan Vorholzer, and Kim Zielkiewicz along with many others, who continue to lift her up when she needs it most. This fundraiser exists to help ease the financial burden that Debbie's medical condition has caused. Any donation, no matter how small, helps Debbie breathe a little easier and reminds her that she is not alone in this fight!
