Hi, I'm Kelsey and I'm raising funds for my cat Pippin. I recently emigrated to Norway with my partner Abram, and sister cats Pippin and Jackie. At the border, Pippin's microchip was not functioning, and she was taken into quarantine for three weeks. She is allowed to leave on 1 February.

This was shocking and unexpected, as both cats were examined by a veterinarian before international travel. Part of this exam was checking the microchip and this apparently was not done by the vet in Oroville, CA.

Moving internationally with pets was expected to be expensive, but despite careful research, planning, and saving, we simply do not have the funds to bust her out of quarantine.

The funds will be used to pay for three weeks of boarding, a new microchip, a rabies vaccination (though her vaccinations are current, they require one with the implantation of a new chip), vet exam, and gas to drive the 12 hours from our new home in Nå to Oslo and back.
