In October of 2021, Robert was diagnosed with colon cancer and underwent a procedure to remove a cancerous tumor and part of his colon. Recently he had a CT scan and the results were concerning which lead to a biopsy that confirmed the cancer had now spread to his lung and is stage 4. In the past two months, the lung nodule has grown from 9mm to 12mm and there are markers of reoccurrence of colon cancer. Robert is currently undergoing 3 months of chemotherapy with hopes of continuing to work during the treatment to support his wife and 4 children. This donation will help relieve some financial loss from days it is not viable to work due to side effects from chemotherapy as well as the compiling medical bills.
