Dear Friends,
In April 2013, Farmer Brad was able to get a 3 year lease on a farm located just outside Mentone, Alabama. In August 2013, He was also blessed to move into a small home located on the property. After building infrastructure for the pigs, and planting copious seeds and plants, Brad was finally realizing his dream of providing for his family through sustainable agriculture.
In September 2013, a bank representative informed Brad that the owner of the home was being foreclosed on, and Brad would have to vacate the farm he worked so hard to build.
Through much negotiations, Brad has been able to continue to live and farm on the property. We are now ready to make the farm our family home and continue to produce pasture-raised meats, non GMO grains, and all natural pesticide-free produce.
Your generous donations will help us secure the down payment to purchase the property Brad, Willow and Amanda call home.
