This is my niece, River Rose born February 26, 2017 weighing at 2lb 10.7 oz 14.5 in long. She has been diagnosed with an Abernethy malformation (type II), this effects the circulatory system, liver is unable to clean or filter out the blood. She has also been diagnosed with Down syndrome, skeletal anomalies - affecting her left leg and hand, pulmonary hypoplasia- poor lung development which may lead to respiratory difficulty and problems with heart function, left kidney pyelocaliectasis- dilation of the ureter connecting to the kidney to the bladder, which put her at risk for kidney disease or urinary tract infections, and lastly multicystic dysplastic of her right kidney- right kidney doesn't function because it's cystic. On behalf of my brother, Daniel Rivas and Christa Cervantes, we are asking for your help on this journey we are about to embark as a family. They currently reside in Seminole, Tx. They have 3 boys- Jayden, Jordan, and Daniel, 1 girl- River, 3 dogs- deuce, honey, and bear. Due to the circumstances, my brothers income is the only income at this time. He currently drives to Fort Worth for the weekend to spend time with River and Christa and then has to come back to Seminole to go to work during the week which is also starting to take a toll financially. We are asking that you find it in your heart to help them with many prayers for healing, medical expenses, and travel expenses. Thank you for support!
