DJ Toomey Funeral Expense

I've created this Go Fund Me to help a Smithtown East Alumni who tragically past away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DJ Toomey moved to Florida a year and a half ago to seek a new direction in life. He was finally getting ahead and had his life headed on the right path. For the past 7 months he had completed the programs he was in and was ready to start a new chapter in his life, one hundred percent sober.

Then on Friday October 30th he wasn't feeling well and ended up going to the emergency room. Unbeknownst to him or anyone else he had two clogged valves in his heart. The doctors diagnosed him with Coronary Occlusion. Tragically Sunday morning DJ went into cardiac arrest and past away. He was only 24 years old.

Because he was in Florida the family not only has to deal with this terrible loss but also have to make arrangements to have DJs remains flown from Florida to New York at their expense. I was hoping to help lift some of the financial burden for his parents, Sue Hallock and Andrew Toomey during this terrible time. Any money donated will be put towards the transportation fee and the cost of the funeral. Thank you so much for your help.
