I’m reaching out to ask for a little support for my daughter, EJ.

EJ is 5 years old and is currently undergoing a formal assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD. This process is incredibly important in helping us understand her needs and ensure she has the right support in place as she starts her schooling journey.

The assessment cost is $1,688, which, like many families right now, is a significant expense for us. We are doing everything we can to prioritise our children’s needs, but the financial pressure has been building.

Our son has already been diagnosed with autism, and we have committed a large portion of our fortnightly income to ensuring he can attend a school that specialises in supporting students with autism. It has been the right decision for him, but it has also meant that additional costs, like EJ’s assessment, are harder to manage.

We’re not expecting anything, but if you’re in a position to contribute, even a small amount would help ease the financial load and allow us to focus on what matters most, supporting EJ.
