Hi! We are theatre students at Eastern Illinois University. We have been blessed to be nominated to attend and perform at the 2016 competition known as the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.  Eight of us are traveling to perform in the Irene Ryan Acting auditions for scholarship funds.  

ACTF is a nationwide competition where schools all across the nation compete in hopes to go to Washington D.C. and perform at the Kennedy Center. 

Due to the lack of funding from the State of Illinois, EIU has cut the funds that normally allow its students to attend. Instead, we now have to pay for all expenses including the registrations fees, the living expenses, and transportation.

This money will go to registration fees, housing for the week-long conference, and travel.
