My passion for learning started at a young age. The way my parents and grandparents described it to me is that I would look at everything in a different way. I didn't so much as look at it to see what it was, but more so to see how it worked and why it was there, and many other thought provoking questions. This turned into me attending college as a first generation student.
I have been given a opportunity to continue my passion for learning, but not just any subject and not just any country. A subject (taxes) and country (Ireland) that I personally get excited about. Taxes may seem boring to some, but my passion I have for learning about this subject, and being able to apply it by helping others understand it can be increased ten fold by me learning another country's tax system, which is similar to the United States.
Even though I am working as a Resident Advisor full time, working an additional 10-15 hours within that job, and carrying 19 hours in school, I've come to a point where I've realized that my passion sometimes brings me to places I, alone, cannot achieve without the help of others. I am reaching out to all my family and friends asking for their support in helping me reach my goal - to study abroad. Without the kind generosity from people like you, my goal to study abroad will not come to fruition.
Again, I cannot thank you enough for your consideration of supporting me and my passion for learning.
