Hilf jungen Schlagzeuger:innen in der Karibik, ihren Weg zu finden – mit neuen Instrumenten.

Ich habe vor Kurzem ein musikalisches Herzensprojekt in der Karibik gestartet. An einer Musikschule vor Ort, an der viele junge Menschen Schlaginstrumente lernen möchten – insbesondere klassisches Schlagwerk wie Pauken – fehlt es massiv an funktionierender Ausrüstung.

Gerade dort wird dringend ein vollständiger Paukensatz benötigt, um den jungen Musiker:innen eine echte Perspektive zu geben. Musik kann so viel bewirken: Sie schenkt Halt, Hoffnung und Orientierung. Doch ohne Instrumente bleiben diese Möglichkeiten unerreichbar.

Die Situation vor Ort ist aktuell besonders herausfordernd. Viele Jugendliche kämpfen mit schwierigen Lebensbedingungen und laufen Gefahr, den Halt zu verlieren. Mit Musik kann man dem entgegenwirken – sie bietet Ausdruck, Struktur und eine Chance auf Entwicklung.

Ich stehe in direktem Kontakt mit der Schulleitung und begleite den Transport der benötigten Ausrüstung persönlich. Die Spende wird transparent organisiert und offiziell abgewickelt – der Paukensatz macht den Anfang, weitere Schlaginstrumente sollen folgen.

Meine eigenen Mittel reichen dafür nicht aus – aber gemeinsam können wir etwas bewegen. Jede Spende, ob groß oder klein, hilft, diesen jungen Musiker:innen bessere Bedingungen zu schaffen und ihnen neue Wege zu eröffnen.

Help Young Percussionists in the Caribbean Find Their Path – With New Instruments

I recently started a musical project close to my heart in the Caribbean. At a local music school, where many young people dream of learning percussion instruments – especially classical instruments like timpani – there is a huge lack of proper equipment.

Right now, a complete set of timpani is urgently needed to give these young musicians a real perspective. Music can make such a difference: it brings stability, hope, and orientation. But without instruments, these opportunities remain out of reach.

The situation for many of the students is particularly challenging. A lot of young people are facing very difficult living conditions and are at risk of losing their way. Music can counter this – it offers expression, structure, and a chance for personal growth.

I am in direct contact with the school leadership and will personally accompany the transport of the instruments. Donations will be handled transparently and officially – the timpani set is just the beginning, with more percussion instruments to follow.

On my own, I cannot cover the full costs – but together, we can make a real difference. Every donation, big or small, helps create better conditions for these young musicians and opens new paths for their future.
