If you've lived in Grand County anytime over the past 40 years, you've been helped by Eileen! For decades, Eileen has been a pillar of the community—serving as a Town of Fraser trustee for 12 years, acting as mayor pro tempore, earning a municipal leadership award, sitting on local boards working to promote sustainability, and energetically showing-up for the people and causes she believes in (and buying fundraiser/silent auction items for obscene amounts!). A proud third-generation 4-Her and former professional microbiologist, she has always believed in the power of service. She’s also a familiar, welcoming presence at Fraser Safeway, where she has worked for 27 years, sharing smiles and kindness with all who cross her path.
Above all, Eileen is a devoted mother whose three children reside locally and a proud, doting grandmother of nine—a role she holds closest to her heart. Her family has been blessed by her wisdom, strength, and unwavering love, and now they stand by her side as she faces this challenge with courage and grace.
A Time to Give Back
Eileen has recently been diagnosed with Stage 3-C ovarian cancer. This news has come as a shock to those who know and love her, but true to her nature, she is approaching this journey with strength, grace, and an open heart. As she explores the best treatment and comfort options for her healing—ones that support her whole body, mind, and spirit—many of these resources are not covered by insurance.
How We Can Lift Eileen Up
Eileen now needs a circle of support to help bring her back to balance and wellness. Your generosity can help ease the growing financial burden so she can focus fully on her healing. Your Go Fund Me donation will help provide:
- Holistic healing treatments and therapies that nourish her body, mind, and spirit and restore vitality
- Transportation costs for medical appointments and clinical treatments in Denver, as well as the possible overnight stays
