As some of you may know, Eileen Johnson recently discovered that her cancer, treated successfully just one year ago, has reoccurred.
After celebrating her 52nd birthday and what she thought was a year in remission, Eileen now faces a challenging fight. There is a plan in place and a light on the horizon, but treatment will be challenging.
Eileen will be undergoing Proton Therapy, a new, hyper-targeted form of radiation with drastically less side effects and higher chance of full recovery with minimal impact on way of life. She will do this 5 days a week M-F for a total of 35 treatments. She will also have chemotherapy once a week for 6 weeks.
We have created this Gofundme to gather the support of friends and loved ones.
The Johnson family is beyond humbled and thankful for everyone’s support and love over the past few weeks. The support of the community has helped them focus on what matters most, uniting to fight this fight.
Eileen has a LOT of life left to live.
