Eileen Merry (Schultz) Gamboa
December 29, 1963 – February 20, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen Gamboa.

Eileen's life was characterized by her deep love for her two daughters, Elena and Olivia. They were not just her children but her whole world. Eileen cherished every moment spent with them, finding joy in their company. Her sense of adventure and free-spiritedness was evident in her love for travel and exploration of national parks. She found solace in the beauty of nature, often challenging herself with marathons, including the Boston and New York City Marathons.

Born on December 29, 1963, Eileen wore many hats. She was a talented hairdresser & esthetician, she eventually went back to school & dedicated over 10 years of her life to nursing, finding fulfillment in caring for others. Eileen's love revolved around her daughters, who provided unwavering support through life's ups and downs.

While the pain of her loss is immeasurable to her family and friends, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace.

Eileen was the beloved daughter of Paul and Suzanne (deceased) and sister to Michael, Annie (deceased), Linda, Paula, and Carole. She was a devoted mother to Elena and Olivia, and her cherished cat, Jinx. Eileen was also deeply loved by her many nieces and nephews, creating countless cherished memories with them.

To those who knew Eileen, her memory will forever live on in our hearts. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of nature and stargazer lilies of which she so adored.

In lieu of flowers, this GoFundMe page has been set up to assist with the financial obligations that now rest on her daughters. Your generosity during this challenging time is deeply appreciated.

In honoring her adventurous spirit, we plan to celebrate her life with a small gathering at one of her favorite places, Donner Lake, later this year. If you wish to join us in commemorating her life, please fill out the Google Form linked here, and we will be in touch with further details.

All our love,
