Eileen Power, Our Mum, Family & Our Friend

Hi, My name is Kelly.

I am creating this gofundme in support of my Mother Eileen. Mum is age 60. She turned 60 in August of last year. She has 4 Children. Myself and 3 siblings. And 5 grandchildren. She lost both her parents at a young age due to cancer also. She has 5 Siblings. 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

My mum was diagnosed as having stage 4 ovarian cancer almost 3 years ago now. Sadly she has been placed in palliative care for her end of life. Mum has had it tough these past 3 years with all the treatment shes had to endure. Its been a tough time for her. Shes always maintained she would always fight to the end. To our suprise she is still hanging in there to the very end. As many of you will know mum has had a few battles in her life. But she's always come through with the fighter attitude she has.

Mum Is based in NSW and 3 of her children are in SA. Which has made it incredibly tough for us to see our mum at this sad time. We did make it over there Easter week to see her for a few days and that was quite hard for all of us as we knew this would more than likely be the last time we would see mum and speak to her..

We are hoping to raise enough funds to give mum the send off she really deserves. We understand times are tough , we appreciate any amount of donations we can get together. It will help towards mums final costs. Due to mum not having any savings and us not being in a position to fully fund the costs needed we are seeking further help.
