Eid in Tabora 2022

We are so excited to be planning a big Eid al-Fitr celebration in Tabora (Tanzania) again this year!!
Last year we raised funds for the first time to celebrate Eid at our 3 day centres, for the wonderful children we sponsor and support at TLC. You can see some of the beautiful photos below!
With your help and generous donations, we hope to keep this tradition going, so that our TLC kids can experience the joy of Eid every year.
This year, we will be raising funds to provide a special Eid feast for all 130 children at our 3 centres in Tabora. We would also love to gift each child a set of home clothes, to make this Eid that extra bit memorable.

£240 >> Eid feast for 1 Centre, approx 40 children
Eid gifts
£30 >> Set of clothes for 5 children

More about TLC:
TLC supports 150 orphaned and vulnerable children, from pre-school to university level, in Tabora, a large city in Tanzania. We have 3 Day Centres where the children come for nourishing meals, healthcare, additional tuition, a safe place to play and all round tlc. All our children are sponsored and all are given school uniforms and supplies so they can go to school. Two years ago we had our first university graduate and since then we have another 5 university students plus others at college, in apprenticeships or taking vocational courses. Some are now in work. TLC does all it can, supported by sponsors and donors, to enable all our children to have the maximum opportunity to fulfil their potential and free themselves from poverty.
TLC is a UK registered charity entirely led by volunteers. All donations go directly to Tabora to support the children.
