Hello, my name is Rev. Joiquim L. Barnes and I am a member of the Cleave’s Memorial CME Church of Columbia, SC. I have been dealing with a lot of health issues lately and have been battling with kidney failure. Last time I reached out to you, I was told I had colorectal cancer, but since then, my doctors have told me that my diagnosis was wrong. It’s been a long journey towards recovery, but thanks to God and many of you, I have been blessed to be alive even though I am living with kidney failure stage 3.

Due to my chronic illness, I am unable to afford housing. I am currently considered homeless and have been staying with family and friends whenever possible. I am reaching back out to you to please consider helping me with living expenses until I am able to get financially stable. Your donation will help me to offset my medical and living expenses. I’m currently working on securing my own apartment or boarding house. All of the funds will go directly towards helping me secure a place to live and continue to remain healthy.
