As some of you may know, Manuel Medina, husband to Adriana and father to Carlos, Nathaly, and Stephano, passed away on early Wednesday morning after a long battle with COVID-19. Manuel was an incredible husband and father, and was loved by many. To his family and to those who knew him, he was their inspiration to be a better person. His loss is a heavy one.

Many have expressed a desire to help the family at this difficult time, and, while there are many others with greater financial struggles than their own, they wanted to create this page for those with the desire and means to help the family with burial expenses, including transporting a portion of his ashes to be spread at the River Guayas in Ecuador, and ensuring Adriana has everything she needs at this time. Any unused funds will go to a cause close Manuel’s heart: youth sports and housing justice. A service will be held in the community later this year, when it is safe for us to celebrate his life together.
