Help Rebuild Lives After Hurricane Helene

Since this has been created, Sheila and Eric have been able access their home and are currently cleaning house from the flooding. Not much was salvageable but they are taking it day by day.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated or reached out to offer support. The 5k is going towards their temporary housing and basic living expenses to get by until they can move into their new home on October 15th.

Hi my name is Lisa and I started this gofundme to assist in raising money for my sister Sheila, my brother in law Eric, and their 2 cats Grace and Willie.

On September 26, 2024 Hurricane Helene devastated their area in Madeira Beach with historic flooding and they lost everything.

They are unable to get back on the island at this time, but are going to be staying at an air BNB until they are able to move into their new home on October 15th.

Any little bit will help them with the costs of the air bnb for a couple of weeks, any food they will need, clothing, etc to make it through these difficult times.
