Barn Fire Recovery

https://www.onceuponacowmicrodairy.com/ My son's family barn has burned down. He is a father of 7 (4 months - 11 years) and husband to Katie.  They live an incredibly modest and rural life, homeschooling, farming and living a daily liturgical life rooted in their Catholic Faith.
They live in the small farming community of Columbus, NC. This is a total loss of business and personal items in the barn. We are very grateful it is only materials and no harm to family or farm animals. 
Friends have asked how they can help and after some discussion I decided to start this fundraising campaign for them. They did have insurance but as an outside structure it is very limited in its recovery scope. They also lost all their Dairy farm equipment and food used in "Once Upon a Cow Dairy" https://www.onceuponacowmicrodairy.com/
The cost to rebuild will be significantly more than they will receive from insurance. They have just recently had their 7th child, Daniel and Mom and Dad have their hands full running a small farm with 8 cows and pigs, chickens and other small critters. The cows have to be milked twice a day and without their electric milking it is challenging. Please pray and if you are able please consider helping this very modest family at this time.  I know they will be eternally grateful.

Our dairy barn has burned down!
During the fire there was a moment when we thought a child was in there. He wasn't. But that helps keep things in perspective on our loss. We're still reeling, but coming to grips with the situation. This barn had been built, added to, and adjusted by us and farmers before, and there are just some things that cannot be replaced.
That said, we intend to rebuild as soon as we can, but we have a long road ahead. After the experience of Covid, we also intend to build back in such a way to better serve the local community, so please do let people know that this little dairy Grade A will be coming back stronger. It took us almost 8 years to get where we were, and we don't intend to give up.
Many people have asked if they can help - "barn raisin'" and all that.
