Help innocent Afghans eat!

As some of you might know, I recently had a trip back to my homeland, Afghanistan. I knew the economic situation wasn’t good, but I didn’t know it was that bad. My heart was shattered seeing what the people were going through. Kids as young as 5 working to provide for their families, people not knowing where their next meal would come from, others selling their body organs to put food on the table and it’s only getting worse day by day. Extreme poverty is on the rise, with women, children and the elderly being the most affected by the crisis.

 We were able to raise a decent amount of money to help the poor there during the time I was there and I don’t want this to stop. Since I'm no longer there, we hope to continue the work and keep helping the people in need as long as we can. I want to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the people that donated and supported this act of goodness. With your help, we were able to provide monthly food packages for around 30 families and give out ready-made meals for about 300 people, as well as giving out cash paired with buying clothes/shoes for the little children who were seen most of the time walking bare feet all day on the streets because they couldn’t afford to buy shoes.

 We were also able to find sponsorships for 9 children that were breadwinners for their families, so they can go back to being kids and go back to school as they will be sponsored each month for their monthly food and basic needs expenses. And for the people sponsoring these kids, May Allah reward you in the best way as your act has allowed those kids to go back to being a kid!  As you read this, there are millions of children food insecure and instead of enjoying their childhood, they stress about how they will feed their family at night or the next day. So please don’t forget those innocent individuals donate. Every dollar counts, share this link with your families, friends, and social groups.
