My disabled mum

Hi, my name is Paul and my mum has Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which is a connective tissue disorder.

On the 20th November 2024 she had an Ileostomy done and is needing more help to get to her car with less difficulties and less strain on her already four times broken feet ( Metatarsals).

My mum has been through so much in my short life and has been through so many major operations and still she's always been there for me, if I can raise enough for this work I'd not feel as helpless. From the age of 5 I have been her registered young carer and still as I'm now as an adult help her with her everyday needs. She is in constant pain and I just want to make her life a little easier and help her with her independence.

I have asked my local council to fund her a dropped kurb so she can live more independently to which they said no.

She needs her car to be as close to her home as possible but doesn't have the money to pay the council for the work to be done.

This is now my only option to have the work completed for her.

Any money raised will be greatly appreciated and every penny will help.
