As most of you know, my stepfather David, was diagnosed in fall of 2021 with stage 4 esophageal cancer. Since then, David had been too sick to work and my mom, Heather, had to retire to care for him. The battle had it's ups and downs and financial struggles through the way, but he managed to keep fighting and defying the odds of his diagnosis.

On the morning of May 25, 2023, David suffered a stroke and other medical complications surfaced; and ultimately lost his battle and was taken from this world on May 31, 2023. He leaves behind a loving wife, three stepchildren, their spouses, and nine grandchildren, as well as siblings and friends. David was an extremely caring man who would do anything for anyone. Now it is time for us to ask for help to make sure his memory lives on by having a End of Life Celebration, and an ash spreading ceremony in a location of his choosing. Cremation estimate is $1600. Flowers and gifts have been accepted and at this time, we are asking for help with the final costs. Anything helps!
