I was recently shot while sitting in my vehicle by an unknown individual with a rifle. I am now seeking financial assistance to help cover my hospital expenses, as I will be unable to work during my recovery. This incident occurred on October 6th 2025 Monday evening after driving up to Palomar mountain to a popular vista overlook, shortly after I arrived, an individual approached my vehicle driver side window without me noticing and banged on my driver side window! Startled, I looked over my shoulder and was traumatized when I saw the silhouette of a person wearing a hoodie pointing a rifle barrel at my head! I slowly raised my hands and told him don't shoot, he then asked me if I was Mexican and immediately after I answered YES, he shot at me at the same time I instinctively quickly turned my head to the right and the bullet missed my face but hit my right arm shattering the bone and protruding through my arm and lodged itself into my vehicle dashboard! With my left hand I searched for the keys and located them and managed to start the vehicle all the while anticipating another shot by this mentally disturbed unknown attacker, as I drove away I heard another shot and that bullet hit my rear tire and rim making a whole in the rim! I managed to drive to a house and began honking and a came out and called the police, as I continued to bleed profusely! I am a loving caring father of 3, and I work from paycheck to paycheck and I am respectfully requesting your support during this very difficult time for medical expenses and vehicle repairs.
