I am reaching out today with a heavy heart but a lot of hope for my sweet boy, Ginger. Recently, what started as a scary facial wound quickly turned into a medical emergency, and Ginger has been fighting for his life. We desperately need your help to cover his mounting veterinary bills.

What Happened to Ginger?

It all started when Ginger came home with a severe wound on his face. Before we knew it, the wound became badly infected. He had to be rushed to the emergency vet for urgent surgery to remove the infected and dead tissue so his face could heal properly.

While he was hospitalized and undergoing surgery, things took an even tougher turn. The amazing veterinary team discovered two more major health battles:

A Severe Bladder Obstruction: This is a life-threatening emergency for male cats.

FIV Positive Status: We also learned that Ginger is positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). While FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives, it means his immune system is compromised, making his recovery from the facial infection and surgery much harder and requiring extra specialized care.

The Good News: Ginger is a fighter.

The Hard News: Saving Ginger’s life came with a massive financial toll. Between the emergency surgery, the bladder treatment, the FIV diagnostics, and days of intensive hospitalization, the bills have completely overwhelmed us.
