Helping the Stewart Family

Hello, My name is Nicole Bukowiecki and I am a close friend of Yesenia Stewart. I am fundraising on behalf of Christopher Stewart and his family to pay for medical and home care expenses. 

 

On Thursday, October 7th at 2:30 AM, Christopher was working as a Road Ranger setting up a detour on the highway when a car drove around the traffic cones striking Christopher immediately with his vehicle.

Christopher was airlifted to a nearby hospital where they were treating him for two broken legs, a broken arm, a broken clavicle, a collapsed lung, and major trauma to the spine.

 

Christopher had multiple surgeries these last couple of days and was told by doctors that he will likely be paralyzed from the waist down. With many more surgeries to come, I am raising funds in support of his wife, Yesenia Stewart and their two young sons, Roscoe and Soren, as their lives have now changed forever. 

 

These funds will assist Yesenia and her family to move from their 2nd floor apartment to a more accessible home for Christopher. Funds will also assist with needed child care and medical expenses.

 

Christopher has a very long road to recovery, and any little bit that can be given to help them during this time is much appreciated. The Stewart Family and I thank each and every one of you who has donated and/or shared this fundraiser.
