Mental Health Services
Did you know, in 2011, 45.6 million American adults suffered from a mental illness, but only 38.2% received any type of mental health services? With a growing population of people being unable to afford insurance, or pay for the services out-right, more and more people are opting to skip out on the treatment that they really need.
We believe that no one should have to forgo treatment due to their financial situation. We are working to become the face of those who are placed on long waiting lists, or are turned away because of their lack of insurance. Our mission statement is:
“to provide mental health services for individuals who are in need of emotional, psychological, professional, and behavioral support. We strive to be a part of the village raising our children, and pre-serving our families.”
We provide services for men, women, adolescents, and children in Clayton, Fulton, Dekalb, Fayette, Henry, Douglas, Cobb, and Spalding counties. Some of the services we provide include substance abuse counseling, anger management, parenting classes, psychological testing, community support, crisis intervention, psychiatric testing, group counseling, and individual counseling. More information on our practice and the services we provide can be found on our website: www.egtcs.com.
We enjoy being able to assist individuals in our community, and we have noticed the positive impact our practice is having on so many lives. For the past year we have struggled to keep our doors open. The majority of individuals we serve aren’t able to afford the services, and our resources have finally become exhausted. Despite our attempts to be approved by a mental health provider agency that qualifies for federal funding, mental health continues to go underfunded in every state, and our practice is no exception.
We ask you to please donate to our page. Help us to keep our doors open for the people who are struggling, and searching for someone who will just listen. Our main goal is to save these people who are standing on the edge, and to keep them from falling off the cliff. Everyone needs help at some point in their life, and these people need us now.
We greatly appreciate any donations and support that we receive through this page. Thank you.
