I am reaching out to the Gofundme community in regards to helping me save my home. My home holds many loving memories for myself and my family. It is now in foreclosure and was put up for a Sheriffs sale a few weeks ago. . I have lived in here for 51 years and my house  was originally paid off in 1997.  In 1999 my wife of 57 years, Janet, had 2 emergency brain surgeries.  Since then she has not been able to work.  Our insurance only covered $5,000.00 for hospital bills which totaled $128,000.00  and specialized surgeon fees of  $42,000.00 .

I took out a 2nd mortgage to cover these expenses in 2008. The 2nd mortgage was almost paid off when in 2014, my wife had a stroke and required hospital, medical, rehabilitation and out-patient care. Additionally, last year it was discovered that she had a 75% heart blockage and required an emergency procedure  the insertion of 2 stents to open her arteries. I am now 78 and also have multiple health issues ranging from, Heart condition, prostate cancer, sugar diabetes, duodenal ulcer.

I am self a-employed barber and I don’t have many customers these days. I cannot afford to pay the additional medical bills or current mortgage.. I have tried to get modifications to no avail.  I am asking for your support  as I must raise $20,000 by October 8th.   The funds will be used to pay legal fees.  I would greatly appreciate your financial support  as soon as possible.
