Cancer messed with the wrong girl!

Hi, my name is Tina Lile. I’m a mom, a caregiver and a small business owner. I have always been a strong independent woman and would never ask for help. This battle has forced me to humble myself and ask for y’all’s help.

I don’t even know where to start. Over the years I have had my fair share of ups and downs, as I am sure many of you have had. Not only have I survived breast cancer, I have also worked my way back from nerve damage in my legs that left me paralyzed. It took three years of grueling physical therapy, but eventually was able to walk again.

I managed to keep my business even though being in a wheelchair, then a walker, to crutches and then a cane. I was finally walking on my own again. I moved out of my townhome and got a house. I was working full force again. Then came the life changing words...You have cancer. The doctors told me I had Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC). Once the shock wore off, I said, OK, I will beat this too!

Four months after receiving the diagnosis, the pandemic hit. Over the next two years, and after everything I went through my business was nearly destroyed. I took on 3 other part time jobs trying to make ends meet. As time went on I became more and more fatigued with increasing pain and was ill. I was forced to cut way back on the hours I was able to work. No longer able to pay my bills, I lost my home. My ex husband was kind enough to take me in and give me and my dog a place to live.

Now for the reason I am asking y’all’s help. Eight weeks ago I became bed ridden and didn’t know why. I assumed it was the RCC. The tumor is located in a spot that would make it extremely dangerous to remove. I was told surgery should only be considered as a last resort. After weeks of various tests and medications, I was still very ill. The doctors now believe the cancer has spread to my blood, which is why I am not getting better.

For those of you who have read this far, you should know I have the fight, however money is now the issue. I know I can win this fight, but I need your help to do it. Treatments are available that are suited for this fight, but they are not covered by my insurance and are very expensive.
