Eggnog's Treatment Fundraiser

Meet Eggnog Last week he was running up and down a main road in town like he was looking for someone. Unfortunately after multiple attempts to catch, we had to give up. We shared his photo in local groups to see if anyone recognized him and that’s when we found out he had been in that spot for days. I saw him again two days later and this time I was more prepared!

He spent the first couple days catching up on sleep but now he’s getting more curious and venturing around the house. He’s still a little a jumpy but has definitely made progress! He’s more relaxed, follows me around the house and I'm even getting some tail wags.

Eggnog saw the vet where we learned he’s around 5-6 years old and 15lbs. He did not have a microchip so we had him chipped and vaccinated. Unfortunately, he tested Heartworm positive so we will be getting him the treatment he needs (estimate $400) after his neuter surgery.
