Hi it’s Nicole! I am putting together this fundraiser on behalf of my boyfriend Wade. Wade has always been a hard worker always providing for his family! He is so strong, physically ( working out daily), mentally, and most of all in his faith! On 10/8/2022 he went into the doctor for some GI issues. If you know him it took a lot of persuading to get him to go to the doctor and on top of it he currently doesn’t have health insurance! After many blood test, scans and procedures he was diagnosis with Cholangiocarcinoma. Which is a rare cancer of his bile duct. He already has been in and out of the hospital with issues related to the bile stent they put in. Next Friday 10/28/22 he will undergo a 8-10 hr surgery called a Whipple surgery! It’s a very intense surgery and recovery is even more lengthy and intense. Approximate 2-3 month recovery and then the next step will be chemotherapy which we will not know how long the treatment will be until after surgery and they determine how extensive the cancer is. We are working on applying for insurance, disability, and any other form of help we can obtain. I will continue to work as much as I can but will be his primary care giver through this journey. Together we have 3 amazing teenage sons that need him to be around to guide them through this crazy life. 2 beautiful grown daughters and 1 darling grandson that will soon turn two who needs his grandpa to take him fishing and teach him to play football. Any help that we can get during this time for our day to day living expenses, medical expenses and anything else that comes our way during this very difficult time! ❤️
