EggersStrong
If you know the Eggers family, you already know this:
they are the kind of people who show up.
Always.
For everyone.
Without hesitation.
Without asking for anything in return.
My name is Jessica, and I met the Eggers in the most ordinary, wholesome way—when I went to look at puppies. That visit turned into a friendship I didn’t know I was about to need. Our dogs, Moxie and Tula, are the “doggers” (daughters) of River and Tucker—the Eggers’ dogs. That’s how this started. A simple moment that grew into something real.
Now it’s their turn—and that is not something they’re comfortable with. At all.
Chance is 23 years old and has been fighting kidney disease since day one of his life. This isn’t sudden. This isn’t a rough patch. This is a lifelong, relentless fight that has already included two kidney transplants and now complete dependence on dialysis.
In just the last two months, Chance has been airlifted three times.
He is currently in the ICU in Seattle, fighting for his life.
The Eggers family has been living in survival mode—mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially—traveling back and forth to Seattle constantly.
Gas.
Hotels.
Meals.
Time off work.
Parking.
Medical bills.
Dialysis.
ICU stays.
The costs don’t pause just because your world is upside down.
Here’s the part that matters:
The Eggers would never ask for help. Never.
But they would be the first ones standing beside you if you needed it.
This fundraiser isn’t charity.
It’s community.
It’s people taking care of people who have always taken care of others.
100% of the funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to the Eggers family.
Every. Single. Cent.
If you’d like to support the Eggers family by purchasing an EggersStrong hoodie, you can do so here:
100% of the proceeds from these hoodies also go directly to the Eggers family.
Every dollar raised—whether through this GoFundMe or hoodie purchases—will help ease the financial strain so this family can focus on what actually matters right now: Chance. His fight. His life.
✨If you can donate, please do.
✨If you can’t, share this.
✨If you believe in showing up for good people when it counts most—this is one of those moments.
Stand with Chance.
Stand with the Eggers.
EggersStrong.
Always.
