Fundraiser for School supplies

My name is Woody Jean-Louis and this fall I will be attending the University of Miami on a full-tuition scholarship . I am of Haitian descent and I am currently the youngest member of my family to be attending college. I am so eager to start school and embark upon my higher education, however I am in need of funding to purchase the necessary supplies for a successful academic year. My intended majors are Computer Science and Computer Engineering, so I will need a MacBook pro to properly participate and excel in my classes. With my mother currently unemployed, my family is constantly struggling to pay the rent each month. Therefore, I do not want to place the burden of extra costs on them.

My goal of $1,800 will completely cover the cost of supplies for my initial year at the University of Miami. I thank you for your consideration and support of my academic career.
