Emergency Moving Costs

As many of you know, I have been forced to move out of my current residence due to a bad faith eviction that I've been dealing with for too long now.

It's time to move so that I can be happy again and finally have my knee replacement.

As I embark on this journey of looking for my new home, a safe place and most of all, a rental that is suitable, safe to live in, and provides respectful property owners - it has become clear that I will not have a chance to secure a rental without having the rental deposit readily available when I do.

I have started viewing apartments, one of them I am very interested in.

Unfortunately due to me being on ODSP, I can't receive a rental deposit until after I provide proof of address, and even then, I will only be given a few hundred dollars towards that.

With the competitive rental market, the risk of making a property owner wait for the rental deposit raises the likeliness that someone will be able to secure the unit before me.

That is why my Go Fund Me is to help with associated costs, the cost for the rental deposit as well as moving costs.

I am expected to move out by April 1st at the latest, however my items are packed and all that is left is to secure the rental by signing a lease, which includes paying the deposit.

Because I have already started viewing apartments, there's a chance that I can be accepted at any time and it's very stressful knowing that I may not have a deposit ready.

I am asking for any form of donation, nothing is too small, and any support is appreciated immensely.

Paying rent is not an issue for me.

It's just that having first and last plus moving costs available right away, is the issue.

I do have faith that in the end everything will work out and I will find the perfect apartment.

I just need a little bit of help right now.

Although this is a bad faith eviction, it's not worth the fight anymore. there's been way too many serious mainetenance issues, it has become unhealthy for me.
