My name is Terence (Terry) Egan. I was born in 1962 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Chicago.
I was raised in Cicero,IL. . I spent twenty four years living in Cicero. I was a basketball player. I played for both Mary Queen of Heaven and the Cicero Boy's Club during my grade school years.
My high school years were spent at St. Joseph's (Westchester,IL. . There I played for the greatest coach, now a great friend, Coach Gene Pingatore.
At St. Joe's I played with and against some of the finest talent in the country. I made the "All Conference" "Special Mention " team.
I attended "North Central College" in Naperville,IL. . There I spent both my freshman and sophmore years.
I was named to the "CCIW All Conference" teams.
I then transfered to "North Park College" in Chicago IL. . I was a starter on the team until I broke my leg.
I never did make it back in the line-up. However , we did win the Division III National Championship in 1985.
I married in 1986 and am still married to my wonderful wife "Linda". She had a bilateral mastectomy in 2009.
I have two wonderful children. The oldest child Brittany, is presently working for the "Charolotte Knights" Triple "A" baseball team.
Terra, my youngest child, is in her final year at the College of Central Florida. She is studying Equestrian Physiology.
Then there is me .
I am a 53 year old male that was diagnosed with "Parkinson's Disease". I was diagnosed as a possible "3 out of 4 ". About 3.5 years ago I had what is called a "Deep Brain Stimulus" operation. I had 49 staples in my head. They, Rush University Medical Center, also put a battery in my chest.I am unable to work. My family and friends have had numberous fund- raisers. The bills and medicine are getting to get a little bit much to handle. Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any and all donations.
