Help with Pat's Medical Bills

Hello, My name is Amy, I am Pat's sister in-law. Pat is a local St Lucie County resident for most of her life. She is a wife to Kenny and mother to Daniel and Sarah. Pat recently had a stroke. She is still in the hospital recovering. Soon she will be released to a rehab facility to finish her recovery. We are still unsure how long of a process this will be.
Thursday morning Pat got up for work as normal. She had a bad headache for 2 days prior. She went to leave for the day and said goodbye to her son Daniel. She seemed off and kept coming back to say goodbye. She left and soon returned saying she needed an umbrella. Daniel told her it wasn't raining but she took it anyway and left. He then called Pat's sister Zana saying "something is off with mom". Zana was able to get Pat on the phone. Pat was talking about going shopping and not to work. Zana was able to ask enough questions to figure out where she was and to get her to turn around and go home.
Daniel caught up to her at this point and followed her home. Once home she got in the house and passed out in bed. Daniel called an ambulance. The thought she had a stroke. She had a seizure in the ambulance. Anyone that knows Pat know how feisty she is well that didn't stop when she was in the hospital either. They had to sedate her.
The family all gathered in Port St. Lucie awaiting an news. When I arrived she was in ICU, and they were still trying to stabilize her. She was given meds to break up the blood clot and thin her blood. We just had to wait and see if it worked or if surgery was needed. They kept repeating the MRI's. The first 8 hours was very touch and go.
They decided that surgery was not needed and the medication was working. It was time to wake her. As she woke up she was very confused and hurting. Watching her children and husband dealing with this was very painful. They all felt every ounce of pain she felt. That first night none of us slept very well. Kenny had to leave the hospital at 9pm-7am. (Due to Covid only 1 designated person can visit)
The remainder of the family all gathered at Zana's awaiting any news also supporting Sarah and Daniel. The next morning (Friday) Kenny sent a video of Pat holding a cup and drinking from the straw. We all cried tears of joy. She was in a lot of pain all over and a terrible headache still. We also go news that her latest scan showed more improvement and that she could finally have some pain meds. We all slept a little better that night.
The next morning (Saturday) we got even better news. As I sat drinking my coffee Zana came out with her phone on speaker phone. The voice on the other end was Pat. She sounded groggy like a person in the hospital always does but it was her. She is still struggling with memories and some words but overall doing well.
Saturday evening she was moved from ICU to a regular room. She still can't have visitors because of Covid but we will show her all the well wishes she receives on her. We do know that she will go to a rehab facility in a few days. As of right now we don't know how long that will be. She had a Thrombotic stroke in the left side of her brain. I will keep updating this page as we learn more.
Pat and her family could use any donation to help pay for the mounting hospital bills. Anything is appreciated and sharing this Go Fund Me page helps.
