Hi , my name is Laura McCabe, Principal of Laura McCabe Dance Academy, Aberaeron.

We are delighted to announce that 6 children from Aberaeron ( a first for Ceredigion ) have qualified to take part in the biggest dance competition in the world - Dance World Cup 2026 which this year is being held in Dublin . They have been chosen from thousands to be on Team Wales and will represent their country in the summer but we need your help to get them there .

Dance World Cup is self funded and comes with significant costs such as entry fees, Team kit , travel , accommodation, costumes plus more

Every donation no matter how small will help the children get a step closer to represent their country on a world stage .

The event is live streamed to over 60 countries and I will personally go around the local community of Aberaeron on the build up handing out flags so our community is ready to cheer on our dancers .

This is an incredible opportunity for our dancers and I just want to thank everyone who has contacted me to congratulate them and want to offer ideas for fundraising it means so much to us . We have also had media interest .
