Funeral for my mother

Dear friends and family,
I am writing you, as you might already know, my mother Katharina Müslin passed away the 15th July 2018 after a long period of sickness.
We accompanied her after she passed away through the Buddhist ritual of passing from life to death. She was kept in our home for three days untouched but surrounded with love of family and friends.
It was a very difficult process to accomplish due to the restrictive Italian laws. As a consequence the cost of the funeral have been up to 6000 Euros.
We already have received help from many of you however, since some of you have asked to make a donation I would like to let you know that we have established a fund to support this unexpected costs. If we will exceed this amount we will make a donation to ASIA, a beautiful charity organisation that Katharina supported for many years.

Vi scrivo, come forse già saprete, mia madre Katharina Müslin è deceduta il 15 luglio 2018 dopo un lungo periodo di malattia.
L'abbiamo accompagnata dopo che è passata attraverso il rituale buddista di passare dalla vita alla morte. È stata tenuta nella nostra casa per tre giorni non toccata ma circondata dall'amore per la famiglia e gli amici.
È stato un processo molto difficile da realizzare a causa delle restrittive leggi italiane. Di conseguenza il costo del funerale è stato fino a 6000 euro.
Abbiamo ricevuto aiuto da tanti di voi, poiché alcuni di voi hanno chiesto di fare una donazione, vorrei farvi sapere che abbiamo istituito un fondo per sostenere questi costi imprevisti. Se supereremo questo importo, faremo una donazione ad ASIA, una bellissima organizzazione di beneficenza che Katharina ha sostenuto per molti anni.
