As most know, Timmy Jackson was part of our city police dept helping keep our streets and schools safe. In June 2024, Timmy was hit by a car during a traffic stop that has left him unable to perform his duties any longer and forced to retire. Timmy and his family were receiving workers' comp benefits from this injury; however, those ended this year in July. Since July, the family has been living on his wife Audra's paycheck alone, raising two kids, Lacey and Christian. Timmy and Audra were finally getting back on their feet when Timmy ended up in the hospital this past week with a collapsed lung. Timmy is currently on day number 8, and it could be another few days before he can go home. He and Audra have been through a lot recently; on top of that, Audra has been by his side every chance she could be, so she has missed a lot of work.
