Update September 22

Christopher is doing well his recovery. The physical therapists are even telling him to slow down a little while walking! We are still waiting for him to move to a rehab facility to continue his recovery. He is very eager to leave the hospital.

Thanks for all the support! We are not sure how long he will be out of work. He appreciates it very much!

Christopher suffered a major stroke on September 4th. Initially the doctors were not sure if he would be able to walk, talk, or understand language. He was put on a ventilator and was kept under heavy sedation for a week.

He was removed from the ventilator on September 10. He has shown tremendous progress. He is able to do all of those things that they were unsure of. He is even showing off now and walking without assistance.

He is still in the hospital at UNC and will hopefully move to a rehabilitation facility soon. He will likely be in rehabilitation for a couple of weeks. He will return home after rehab, but will still have many appointments. We are also not sure when he will be able to return to work.
