Dear friends and family,

What was supposed to be a fun trip with friends in Cancun turned into a very tragic disaster. On Sunday after breakfast around 9am, while setting up pool chairs Adnan was walking by the pool, he slipped and fell onto the edge of the pool, fracturing his left femur. He was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment, they were not very helpful and he had to be transferred to another hospital Sunday afternoon. He had to have emergent surgery that evening that lasted about 4 hrs. Mild complication from surgery did occur but since have resolved. He will be airlifted by medivac ( a medical private plane ) tomorrow back to Louisville for further treatment. This is not covered by insurance and of course $27,000 had to be paid upfront. Adnan and Nedjila are such sweet souls that have helped everyone and we think as community we should step up and help them through this horrible time in their lives. He will be out of work for a very long and i am sure medical expenses will only continue to pile up. Please help if you can. No amount is too little. Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
